After a review of the anatomic and embryologic fundamentals and of the pathologic aspects, the book proceeds to a discussion of the clinical features, laboratory diagnosis and topographic diagnosis. Separate chapters are devoted to reoperations, primary hyperparathyroidism in the context of multiple endocrinopathy, and malignant parathyroid disease.
