Faruk Koca graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in Turkey in 2013. He specialised in general surgery at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital (now Ankara City Hospital) for about 4 years and became a specialist in general surgery in 2020 in Germany by working at Helios General and Visceral Surgery Clinic for 3 years. Since 2021, he has been working as a specialist in General, Visceral, Thoracic and Transplant Surgery Clinic at Goethe University Frankfurt.
