Ramesh Balasubramaniam is an Oral Medicine Specialist with expertise in temporomandibular disorders, orofacial pain and dental sleep medicine. He has numerous peer reviewed publications, co-authored several chapters and co-edited two textbooks notably "Contemporary Oral Medicine". In addition, he serves as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals. Ramesh has an associate professor at the University of Western Australia Dental School and is actively involved in teaching and research. He has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally. Ramesh is president of the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia (2019-2022). He also has public appointments at the Oral Health Centre of Western Australia and the Perth Children's Hospital.

Sue is an Oral Medicine Specialist, and maintains a specialist private practice in Sydney.  She has appointments at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. Sue is the President-Elect of the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia (2019-2022). She is committed to continuing education in the field of Oral Medicine, lecturing frequently, and authoring peer-reviewed papers and textbook chapters. Her clinical interests lie in oral mucosal disease, and salivary gland hypofunction. 
Tami Yap

BDSc (Hons) DCD PhD FRACDS FOMAA

is an Australian oral medicine specialist and academic at the University of Melbourne, Australia.   She holds clinical positions at Alfred Hospital and Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and is part of multidisciplinary teams at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Skin Health Institute. Her PhD and current focus in translational research for detection of oral cancer.  She has authored original research articles, reviews and textbook chapters in the field of oral medicine.

is an Honorary Associate Professor of Oral Medicine at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry in Brisbane Australia. With extensive international teaching experience in universities in India, Kenya, Sudan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Australia, he has published several scientific papers and authored/edited books in the field of oral medicine and oral pathology. He is a Fellow of the Dental Faculties of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons in the UK and Ireland.
