Dr. James Weese spent most of his career as an academic surgical oncologist, most recently as Senior Member and Chairman of Surgical Oncology at the Fox Chase Cancer Center and Professor of Surgery and Chief of Surgical Oncology at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He is currently Vice President of Aurora Cancer Services at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he oversees the care of nearly 9,000 new cancer patients annually at this 18-site cancer program. Dr. Weese is also Clinical Adjunct Professor of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Very active in the standardization of evidence-based care across the system Dr. Weese was recommended by Sonali Fonseca with whom he consults on Elsevier's VIA Oncology Pathways (now known as ClinicalPath).
