He is a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, American College of Chest Physician, American College of Cardiology and Adjunct Professor at the Cardiology Fellowship Program and International PhD Program in Cardiovascular Pathophysiology and Therapeutics, University of Naples. In 2006 for his scientific merits, he was awarded the title of scholar of the Italian Society of Cardiology.
