Cases on Instructional Design for Allied Health Science Education

Although there are several instructional design texts that focus on how to implement effective and systematic design strategies, there is very little that specifically supports the community college health science faculty community. This book fills that gap by providing authentic and relevant case studies in specific fields.

Although there are several instructional design texts that focus on how to implement effective and systematic design strategies, there is very little focused text that specifically support the community college health science faculty community. Many of these faculty have never been trained in the use of learning theory and systematic learning design strategies, and when they seek textual support to learn this information, they are encountered with content very much unaligned to their intended needs and desired outcomes. This proposed text would fill that gap for the health science faculty community by providing authentic and relevant case studies in the specific fields these community college educators are highly familiar with.
