Dr Angela Darvill was a Senior Lecturer in Children and Young People’s nursing at the University of Huddersfield. Angela is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, has over 20 years experience in higher education and has been responsible for the education of nurses, mentors and lecturers. Angela’s PhD was a study of newly registered children’s nurses’ transition into children’s community nursing teams.  Dr Melanie Stephens is Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing, Head of Interprofessional Education and a health service researcher. She previously led the School of Health and Society’s Preparation for Role Transition module. Melanie is a health service researcher of the Healthy Aging and Dementia Hub, with specific research interests in pressure redistributing properties of seating, tissue viability, and interprofessional education and working. Dr Jacqueline Leigh is Professor in Nurse Education Practice and is an adult nurse. An advocate for evidence-based supervision and assessment, Jackie has significant experience in developing innovative curricula that meet workforce needs in health and social care. Jackie is a National Teaching Fellow and Principal Fellow of Advance HE and is passionate about practice education and clinical leadership.
