EUGOGO Anniversary Symposium

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, the academic consortium European Group on Graves’ Orbitopathy (EUGOGO) organized a highly successful international multidisciplinary scientific meeting on November 7–9, 2019, in Pisa, Italy. A great number of experts and key opinion leaders in the field of Graves’ orbitopathy or thyroid eye disease and thyroid autoimmunity met to discuss the latest findings in experimental research, animal models, pathogenesis, genetics, and immunology. Basic scientists, immunologists, endocrinologists, thyroidologists, specialists in nuclear medicine, ophthalmologists, and orbital and ENT surgeons participated and contributed to the success of the well-attended and challenging meeting. This supplementary issue of the 'European Thyroid Journal' contains a selection of up-to-date research articles written by internationally acknowledged experts.
