Dr Renu Tripathi is a Chief Scientist at the Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, India. She has conducted several studies on malaria, and is a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences. She is a recipient of the CSIR Technology Award for Innovation and the Young Scientist Award from INSA and ISCA.Dr Manodeep Sen, MD, is a Professor at Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, India. He specialises in molecular biology, laboratory medicine, and clinical research, with a particular focus on bacteriophages. He is the author of a number of articles published in both national and international journals.G.P. Dutta obtained a PhD and a DSc from Punjab University, India, in 1961 and 1973 respectively. He edited Experimental and Clinical Amoebiasis (1989), and was the recipient of the SS Bhatnagar Prize in 1976.
