Designed to serve as a quick reference for residents, interns, and beginning sonographers, this pocket manual covers what sonographers need to know to both obtain and interpret obstetric and gynaecologic ultrasound images. The text walks the beginner through the ultrasound examination, differential diagnosis, and diagnosis when no mentor is at hand to answer questions that arise. The manual consists of a large number of images from first, second and third trimester pregnancies. Many of these images are accompanied by line drawings to aid identification of structures.
