Key features include: coverage of non-orthopaedic issues that can affect an athlete's health and performance just as seriously as musculoskeletal injuries can; hands-on advice about working with athletes who require ongoing, practical interventions, such as those with diabetes or asthma; and discussion of the psychological aspects of working with teenagers, athletes undergoing rehab or burnout, and those displaying addictive behaviours.
