Magnetic Resonance Imaging Protocols

This work provides procedural protocols for the most efficient management of a magnetic resonance practice. It is a guide to scanning "recipes", step-by-step procedures for optimizing test quality and patient flow. An introductory chapter serves as an overview of instrumentation and technical considerations in the context of general protocols. Simple descriptions of scanning procedures follow, arranged by body region: head, spine, neck and chest, abdomen and pelvis. A final chapter covers the musculoskeletal system. Each protocol is supported by a series of high-quality MR images, drawn from the large archives at GWU.
