Basics of Hepatobiliary Interventions

Amar Mukund, MBBS, MD completed his postgraduate certification in radiodiagnosis and later trained at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He has been instrumental in establishing the interventional radiology wing at ILBS and pioneered hepatobiliary interventions. He has established the fellowship program (PDCC in HPB interventional radiology) at ILBS in 2012 and is the program director for thesame. He has many peer-reviewed and indexed publications to his credit. Dr Mukund is an associate editor for the Indian Journal of Radiology and Imaging (IJRI) and has been an editorial board member/reviewer for many other journals.He has been a recipient of various prestigious awards and honors, e.g., the Young Investigator Award (ISVIR), Dr V P Lakhanpal Gold Medal, Dr Ashok Mukherjee Award, and Onco-imaging Innovation Award.
