His research is involved in the development of advanced nano/bio materials for drug delivery in cancer theranostics, immunomodulatory applications in cancer & diabetes and angiogenesis. He has published over 36 peer-reviewed research articles, 3 book chapters and 3 patents granted or pending. He serves as international advisory board member of 'Materials Research Express', IOP Sciences. Dr. Mukherjee also works as a scientific blog writer for RSC Biomaterials Science.
