Mike Newman has had a long career in Periodontology, both as a teacher (UCLA for 35 years now professor emeritus) and a clinician (private office for more than 30 years LA and Beverly Hills California). He is past president of American Academy of Periodontology, past Board Member of AAP Foundation, current Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and founding editor-in-Chief of Journal of Evidence-Based Dental Practice and Annual Report in Dentistry. He currently works as a HealthCare Consultant for professional organizations and private industry specializing in periodontal treatment and practice-based research. Assistant Professor Lory Laughter, Periodontics, Department of Dental Hygiene, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, University of the Pacific, San Francisco, CA Dr. Satheesh Elangovan is a Professor in Periodontics at the University of Iowa since 2011. Prior to that he completed his Doctor of Medical Science at Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
