European Pharmacopoeia, 10th Ed., English: 10.0 - 10.2

Earliest access to all European quality standards that is in effect since 1 January 2020 – The single reference for medicines and substances for pharmaceutical use in Europe

The European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.) is Europe’s legal and scientific benchmark for pharmacopoeial standards which contribute to delivering high quality medicines in Europe and beyond. The Ph. Eur. is legally binding in 39 European countries and applied in more than 120 countries worldwide.

The 10th Edition (including Supplement 10.8) contains 2,462 monographs, 383 general texts (including general monographs and methods of analysis) and around 2,850 descriptions of reagents. The texts concern the qualitative and quantitative composition of medicines, the tests to be carried out on medicines, on the raw materials used in the production of medicines and on the intermediates of synthesis. It contains texts covering substances, excipients, substances or preparations for pharmaceutical use of chemical, animal, human or herbal origin, homoeopathic preparations and stocks, antibiotics, as well as dosage forms and containers. It also applies to biologicals, blood and plasma derivatives, vaccines and radiopharmaceutical preparations.

The 10th Edition consists of 3 initial volumes (10.0) complemented by 8 updates issued three times a year to create collection of 8 supplements (10.1 to 10.8) until 2022. Access to Ph. Eur. online archives is included to all users with an up-to-date subscription (print or electronic).
Book version: Available in English or French. The subscription first year contains 3 initial volumes (10.0) and the first 2 non-cumulative supplements, 10.1 and 10.2. It also provides access to the Ph. Eur. online archives until 31 December 2020. For the convenience of users, direct access to complementary information (Knowledge Database) is included for each monograph and general chapters through a data matrix code.

Das Standard-Nachschlagewerk für Arzneimittel in Europa
Die European Pharmacopoeia ist in 39 europäischen Staaten verbindlich. Die gemeinsamen Vorschriften erleichtern den freien Warenaustausch innerhalb Europas und sichern eine einheitliche Arzneimittelqualität. Die 10. Ausgabe der European Pharmacopoeia ist zum 1. Das europäische Arzneibuch enthält Analysenvorschriften für Arzneistoffe, Arzneipflanzen, Impfstoffe, Blut und Blutprodukte, Nahtmaterialien, Darreichungsformen, Behältnisse und die dafür verwendeten Materialien, sowie Reagenzien und Hilfsstoffe. Anhand der Vorschriften werden Identität, Reinheit und Gehalt geprüft, also die Qualität von Arzneimitteln sichergestellt.
Die European Pharmacopoeia erhalten Sie als Abonnement. Im Jahresbezugspreis enthalten sind sämtliche im Abo-Zeitraum erscheinenden Updates bzw. Nachträge (für das Jahr 2019/2020 die Ausgaben 10.0, 10.1 und 10.2.) sowie der Zugang zum Ph. Eur. Online-Archiv.
