This exciting new CD-ROM combines five years of content from four of the world's leading anesthesiology journals-- Anesthesiology, Anesthesia & Analgesia, British Journal of Anaesthesia, and Canadian Journal of Anaesthesia --all on one disk. The CD-ROM contains full text and graphics supplemented by MEDLINE abstracts for all references. Almost 40,000 pages and over 18,000 illustrations are included. Easy-to-use search tools provide clinicians and researchers with unprecedented access to the world's anesthesiology literature. The Electronic Anesthesiology Library (T.E.A.L.) offers full text, fuzzy-logic searching, using Knowledge Finder software; hot-text link to cited MEDLINE(B) abstracts; all images, graphs, charts, and tables; high-quality image presentation--as good as, or better than, the original printed versions; 100 per cent enlargement of images with preserved image detail; thumb-nail image panel that provides a visual overview of articles' contents; hot-text link between in-text figures and table references to corresponding images; and equivalent image presentation on both Macintosh and Windows platforms using a single instance of image data from CD-ROM.
