Vilma R. Hunt is Associate Professor of Environmental Health, College of Human Development at the Pennsylvania State University, University Park. Ms. Hunt received her B.D.S. degree in dental surgery in 1950 from the University of Sydney, Australia, and her A.M. in physical anthropology from Radcliffe College, Harvard University. She was among the first group of scholars at the Radcliffe Institute for Independent Study when it was established in 1961 and became a Research Associate in Physiology at the Harvard School of Public Health. She was Assistant Professor of Environmental Health at Yale University School of Medicine and Research Associate at the John B. Pierce Foundation. Ms. Hunt is a member of the Health Physics Society, the Radiation Research Societyand the American Public Health Association. Her research has resulted in publications on naturally occurring alpha emitting isotopes, lung function, infant mortality, occupational hazards for pregnant women and risk assessment in occupational and environmental health. Kathleen Lucas-Wallace is a practicing Labor Lawyer in San Francisco, California. She earned her Juris Doctor from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. in 1974. Ms. Lucas-Wallace also earned her M.A.T. in 1968 at Oklahoma City University and her B.A. from Manhattanville College, Purchase, New York in 1967. Jeanne M. Manson is Assistant Professor of Environmental Health at the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine. She received her Ph.D. from Ohio State University, Columbus, and her B.A. degree from Emmanuel College, Boston.
