This Windows version CD-ROM "TextStack" reproduces the full text and all figures, tables, charts and illustrations - many in full colour - from "Basic Histology" by Junqueira, Cameiro and Kelley. Users can browse or search for specific information, and incorporate this information into their own documents. The user interface allows easy searching of the text, saving of searches, placing of bookmarks, annotation features, and the printing and downloading of passages. The "QuizBank" comprises multiple-choice questions based on the content of the "TextStack"; readers can readily check the background knowledge in the "TextStack" while working through the questions in the "QuizBank". The "TextStack" and "QuizBanks" are available separately. The hardware and software requirements are: an IBM-compatible PC running Windows 3.1x, and MS DOS version 3.3 or later with a CD-ROM drive.
