Ahmad Riad Ramadan MD is a staff neurologist in the Stroke and Neurocritical Care divisions at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan. He completed a vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas, as a well as a neurocritical care fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Sean I. Savitz MD is professor and Director of the Institute for Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease and holds the Frank M. Yatsu, MD Chair in Neurology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. He conducts both basic science and clinical research in stroke, with a focus on developing cell-based therapies to promote stroke recovery. James C.
