Kenji Inaba is Associate Professor of Surgery and Director of the Surgical Critical Care program and Surgery Residency Program at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. George Velmahos is Professor of Surgery at Harvard University and Director of Trauma, Emergency Surgery and Surgical Critical Care at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.
