Jane Ann Soxman, BS, RN, DDS, graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 1980. Specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry was completed at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow in both the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American College of Dentists. She holds an appointment as voluntary Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry in the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Department of Pediatric Dentistry and is a seminar instructor for general practice residencies at Allegheny General Hospital and the Veterans Affairs Health Care System. Dr. Soxman is Pediatrics Advisor on the advisory board, a column contributor, and manuscript reviewer for General Dentistry. She has authored numerous articles in the dental literature and is editor of the Handbook of Clinical Techniques in Pediatric Dentistry. She has maintained a private practice in Pediatric Dentistry in Allison Park, Pennsylvania since 1983. As a national speaker for over 25 years, she is recognized as a leader in continuing education.
