Pearson eText for Gerontological Nursing is a comprehensive, research-based guide to the nursing care of older adults. It addresses normal and pathophysiological changes of aging, as well as psychosocial, cultural, and public health influences. With a focus on “adding life to years,” not just extending life, the text illuminates evidence and best practices that promote safe, effective assessment, diagnosis, and outcomes. The 4th edition provides new evidence and standards affecting the care of aging populations, plus new practice opportunities preparing students for the NCLEX-RN® exam and nursing practice.
For courses in gerontology and gerontological nursing.
Pearson eText is an easy-to-use digital textbook that instructors can assign for their course. The mobile app lets students keep on learning, no matter where their day takes them — even offline. Students can also add highlights, bookmarks, and notes in their Pearson eText to study how they like.
