Dr. Dirk Hochlenert is specialist in Internal Medicine and Diabetology in an outpatient clinic in Cologne. He organises and conducts postgraduate medical training courses for the treatment of DFS. He manages networks for the treatment of DFS in several regions and organises the DFS-Register. Dr. med. Gerald Engels is Consultant Surgeon in charge of the treatment of DFS in both an outpatient clinic as well as at the St. Vinzenz-Hospital in Cologne. He is a board member of several associations and together with D. Hochlenert organises postgraduate medical training courses for the treatment of DFS as well as teaching the subject in medical schools.
