Naomi E. Ervin, PhD, RN, PHCNS-BC, FNAP, FAAN, has held positions from assistant professor to endowed chair and professor. Her academic administrative positions include department head to director of a school of nursing. Throughout her career, she has been involved in research about the quality of public health nursing care and the use of evidence in public health nursing practice. Her work can be found in over 70 publications. She most recently held adjunct professor positions at two colleges of nursing. Pamela A. Kulbok, DNSc, RN, PHNA-BC, FAAN, is the Theresa A. Thomas Professor of Primary Care Nursing and professor of public health sciences at the University of Virginia (UVA).
