She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor working with individuals, groups, and families in traditional therapeutic settings as well as through animal-assisted interventions, specializing in clients with eating disorders, trauma, and attachment disorders. She has published in the Journal of Humanistic Psychology as well as the Journal of Creativity in Mental Health.
