Randy P. Auerbach, PhD, is Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard University and Director of the Child and Adolescent Mood Disorders Laboratory at McLean Hospital. He is a recipient of the Distinguished Student Research Award from Division 12 of the American Psychological Association, the Smadar Levin Award from the Society for Research on Psychopathology, and the Young Scientist Award from the International Congress of Psychology. Dr. Auerbach has developed prevention and treatment programs for children and adolescents that integrate diverse theoretical frameworks.Benjamin L. Hankin, PhD, is Associate Professor of Clinical Child Psychology and Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Denver. He is a recipient of the American Psychological Association's Distinguished Scientific Award for Early Career Contribution to Psychology. Dr. Hankin's research focuses on understanding the development of depression over the lifespan, especially the factors and processes that contribute to cause elevations in symptoms of and onset of clinical depression.
