This medical reference work for those in the field of forensic medicine contains over 450 colour photographs with fully descriptive legends along with supporting text. The legends highlight the important features and "clues" in the illustrations. The text begins with coverage of the scene of a suspicious death, identification of the dead, timing of cardiorespiratory death, discussion of the concept of brain stem death and post-mortem artefacts.
