Robyn was motivated to write this book when she and her husband were lucky enough to conceive their longed for baby through egg donation. Counselled to explain the process to children at an early age, she searched for a book with the idea that this could be part of his early reading material. His understanding of the concept would grow as he got older. Nothing was exactly what she wanted so she decided to write her own.

The result is Our Family, Our Story, a simple, fun to read book which children can access from a very early age. It is an aid to parents who have been through egg-donation to help them develop their child's understanding and sense of self-worth. It is child friendly, wonderfully illustrated and can be personalised.
