Dr. Christopher T. Chia is a fellowship-trained aesthetic plastic surgeon in Manhattan, New York City. He has special interest in liposuction / body contouring, for which he utilizes the latest, most effective techniques available.Dr. Chia is certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Medical Society of the State of New York. As former Program Director of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Fellowship at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, he was involved in teaching aesthetic surgery to future leaders in plastic surgery. Dr. Chia is the Section Editor for the Emerging Technologies for the prestigious Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal. Dr. Theodorou started his training as Research Fellow for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He studied at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey and the Monmouth Medical Center/Hanhemann University in Long Branch, New Jersey and then returned to Chicago to continue his training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center at Rush University. Dr. Spero Theodorou is a MEETH Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Alumni. He completed his training in New York, at NYU's prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital (MEETH) on an aesthetic plastic surgery fellowship in 2004. The MEETH Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Fellowship specializes in training plastic surgeons in the art of aesthetic plastic surgery. Dr. Theodorou is on the teaching faculty for ASAPS (American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), is the section editor for liposuction for the prestigious Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal, and continues to train other surgeons in SmartLipo and SmartLipo MPX, Triplex, and other cutting edge advancements in plastic surgery.
