Now in its eighth edition, this book has once more been extensively revised. In this edition Professor Engelfriet contributes his knowledge on every aspect of the immunohaematology of red cells, leucocytes and platelets, while Dr Contreras, conveys her practical experience in the field of blood supply, including such problems as dealing with donors with a positive test for HTLV-III/LAV.
