"The writing is sufficiently clear to be understood by all, and the book is well organized. The 60 authors are well-known pediatric surgeons from Italy (predominantly) and Europe, with a few from the United States. ... Overall, this is a thin contribution to the field of pediatric digestive surgery which repeats information more easily and comprehensively available in standard textbooks on the subject." (Robert M. Arensman, Doody's Book Reviews, March, 2016)
