This text for radiographers studying the technical aspects of medical diagnostic image recording has been revised and updated. More emphasis is placed on non-photographic methods such as digital imaging, in line with current practice. Many new illustrations have been included.
This book represents a major revision of the textbook (last published in its fourth edition in 1981) for radiographers studying the technical aspects of medical diagnostic image recording. It is aimed primarily at student radiographers working for the Diploma of the College of Radiographers, but will also be of help to those aiming for higher qualifications. The balance of the book has been modified to give more emphasis to non-photographic methods such as digital imaging, in line with current practice. Many new illustrations have been included and the style and presentation have been updated.
