Mr Sanjay Agrawal is a Consultant Surgeon specialising in Bariatric (Obesity/Weight-Loss) Surgery at Homerton University Hospital in London and Honorary Senior Lecturer, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary, University of London, London, UK. Mr Agrawal is certified as 'Surgeon of Excellence in Metabolic and Bariatric SurgeryTM, SOEMBSTM' by Surgical Review Corporation of USA. He has the privilege of being the First (and only) surgeon in the UK to achieve this designation. Mr Agrawal has the honour of being the First (and only) Post-CCT Fellow in Bariatric and Upper GI Surgery awarded under the National Surgical Fellowship Scheme through the Royal College of Surgeons of England in partnership with the Surgical Specialist Associations in the year, 2009-10. Mr Agrawal has made numerous presentations (approx. 100) at national and international meetings as well as has multiple publications (approx. 100) in peer-reviewed journals. Mr Agrawal is a member of the British Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society (BOMSS) Education and Research Subcommittee (2013 onwards) and of International Committee in the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) (2015-16). Mr Agrawal has served as Faculty in different capacities (Chair/Moderator/Speaker) in multiple national and international meetings.
