Project Management for the Advanced Practice Nurse will be the first resource to provide the basics project management for graduate-level nurses and students, with practical examples and tips. Carolyn Sipes, PhD, CNS, APN, PMP, RN-BC is an Associate Professor at Chamberlain College of Nursing and President and C EO of the Center for EHR Program Management. She received her PhD from Rush University Medical Center, and her MSN and BSN from Northern Illinois University, USA. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and has vast experience working as a consultant with large institutions to improve efficiency and care through her expertise as a project manager. She presently teaches in the Nursing Informatics specialty at Chamberlain, and has worked previously at Walden University, Rush University, University of Phoenix, and Regis University, with a focus on Nursing Informatics and the integration of technology into the workplace. She has contributed to a number of resources and presented on the topic of informatics.
