LWW's Organism Central is an annually updated, subscription-based CD-ROM resource for microbiologists, physicians, or anyone with an interest in infectious diseases. It contains everything users need to know about bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, and virology. Each section covers multiple species and includes a wide variety of color images. Users can utilize LWW's Organism Central to identify unknown organisms based on their observable features and characteristics and to access in-depth data on known organisms.
