Pozgar, MBA, CHE George Pozgar received his BA from Barrington College, now the United College of Gordon and Barrington, Wenham, MA, and his MBA in Health Care Administration from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C. Mr. Pozgar is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Association of University Programs in Health Administration, and the American Health Lawyers Association. Mr. Pozgar is presently an author, speaker, and consultant. He was certified as a surveyor for the Joint Commission and has surveyed and consulted at more than 1,000 hospitals and ambulatory sites throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. He was a corporate consultant for the St. Barnabas Health Care System in New Jersey; Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Episcopal Health Services in Hempstead, New York; Administrator at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, Smithtown, New York; Assistant Administrator at Huntington Hospital, Huntington, New York; Administrative Resident, Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida; Administrative Clerk at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Washington, D.C.; and Research Assistant/Summer Intern for Booz, Allen and Hamilton Management Consultants, Washington, D.C.
