Arthroscopy is performed by looking at a flat screen and is therefore difficult for the surgeon to get the right anatomical perspective. This program uses 3-D models of joints along with videos of actual cases to give a better understanding of the anatomical landmarks of the joint in question, how to avoid complications, and why to use a particular technique. The CD enables the user to move quickly from the description of a problem to a corresponding dissection or an actual case.
