This CD-ROM gathers patient care information in electronic form to facilitate learning, improve patient care decision making, enhance efficiency, and ensure quality care. Published annually, it provides access to information on drugs, laboratory and diagnostic tests, and disease processes and usual treatments from Mosby's references. The book included in this CD are: Skidmore's "2000 Nursing Drug Reference"; Gahart's "Intravenous Medications" (16th edition); Pagana's "Mosby's Diagnostic and Laboratory Test Reference" (4th edition); and Langford's "Mosby's Handbook of Diseases". There are hyperlinks allowing users to "jump" to related information in a few keystrokes. The library also offers CD-online features that provide the customer with a free Netscape browser, free Internet access for 30 days, and links to Mosby.com for other information, as well as links to relevant Web sites.
