AO Müller Electronic Long Bone Fracture Classification, CD-ROM

Simulating the clinical setting, the CD-ROM goes from the radiograph to fracture classification. The basic ideas are shown step-by-step, the user can decide, on the basis of the illustrations and text, which the next appropriate level of hierachy in classifications would be. Finally, for all main groups the radiograph, diagram and a representative virtual reality (VR) animation are shown. Using this process, surgeons can begin to make preoperative plans more accurately and can predict how a fracture as seen in radiographs will appear at the operative situs.
