Sectional and MRI Anatomy of the Human Body

In this atlas, sections of anatomical specimens are correlated with corresponding MR images of the entire human body. Normal structures and the topographic relationships between them are demonstrated in the three standard planes (axial, coronal, and sagittal). Some parts of the body, in particular the central nervous system, are shown in images using varying MR sequences, demonstrating the wide variety of possibilities for representation of the tissues in MR imaging. The extensive detail will make this an indispensable aid to radiologists in training and experts alike.
