Voice Notes gives you instant access to clinical information about laryngeal disorders and the practicalities of evaluation and diagnosis with the flexibility and immediacy only multimedia can provide.Laryngeal Pathology presents current information on 69 laryngeal disorders, including mass lesions, functional disorders, and movement disorders. For each disorder you can view a short video of a patient, hear an oral presentation describing the disorder in clinical terms, read or print the text of the oral presentation, and review clinical and medical history notes on the patient. Evaluation and Diagnosis offers practical information on clinical voice laboratory and voice evaluation procedures, including instrumentation, measurement techniques, sterilization, and anesthesia. Both sections offer three easy ways to access material: Navigation works like a table of contents in a book - click on the general subject, then select from the options that appear. The outline works like the index in a book, providing a complete outline of each specific subject. The "Page Turn" lets you progress forward or back through the material, just like turning a page. The reader will also be able to personalize the presentation individual needs. The program allows you to move back and forth easily between video, voice notes text, and patient history, pause and isolate video frames for closer study, hear an audio presentation of each laryngeal pathology, review patient case notes, and print text of presentations plus normative data, sample clinical forms, and additional resources.The package contains one dual-platform CD-ROM that works for both Macintosh and Windows 95/NT.
