Elise Beaulieu, PhD (c), MSW, ACSW, LICSW, is a nursing home social work consultant. Previously she was curriculum manager for the Institute for Geriatric Social Work, School of Social Work, Boston University, where she facilitated and developed interactive online courses for social service providers. She has also worked as a Director of Social Work at several nursing Massachusetts nursing facilities where she provided direct clinical social work to residents; supervised social workers and students, developed QA programs, and incorporated all state standards for nursing home social work. She has also held faculty positions at Quincy College, North Shore Community College, and she has been a visiting lecturer at Simmons College, Dean College, and Bridgewater University, Ms. Beaulieu is the Chair of NASW's Massachusetts Chapter, the Nursing Home Social Work Special Interest's Group (SIG). She oversees an annual Nursing Home Social Work conference and runs a number of related workshops on aging topics throughout the United States.
