Alison Edwards lectures at BCUand has worked in Nursing and Midwifery since 1985 having trained as a Registered nurse first. She worked in gynaecology prior to commencing Midwifery training and remained in full time practice until 2004 when transferring into lecturing. She has worked in antenatal and postnatal ward areas, set up and run a fetal medicine / pregnancy day assessment unit and regularly coordinated delivery suites in a variety of units in the Midlands.
