Alison Edwards lectures at BCU and has worked in Nursing and Midwifery since 1985, having trained as a Registered nurse first. She worked in Gynaecology prior to commencing Midwifery training and remained in full-time practice until 2004, when she transfered to lecturing. Alison has worked in antenatal and postnatal ward areas, she set up and run a fetal medicine / pregnancy day assessment unit, and regularly coordinated delivery suites in a variety of units in the Midlands.
