Suhail Doi is an Associate Professor of Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Queensland. Prior to joining the University, he worked as an academic clinical consultant in endocrinology affiliated with Kuwait University. His research interests include patient care, and research design and analysis used in medicine, focusing on patient care epidemiology, prognosis and treatments of disease. He has published widely and is co-author of the Doi-Thalib method for meta-analysis which was introduced in 2008 as an alternative to the random effects model.
