Dr. Bonita Broyles is a former course coordinator and instructor at Piedmont Community College, where she twice received the Faculty Excellence Award, in addition to multiple Outstanding Faculty Awards. She continued her career as a nursing instructor for Columbus Technical Institute, and Patient Teaching and Discharge Planning Coordinator in Gynecology at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus. Currently a part-time nurse and successful Delmar author, Dr. Broyles began working on PHARMACOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF NURSING CARE in its sixth edition, and has written four other Delmar nursing titles. Dr. Broyles earned her B.S.N. from Ohio State University, M.A. in Educational Media from North Carolina Central University, Ed.D. from LaSalle University, and Ph.D. in Adult Education from St. Regis University. Barry S. Reiss is Professor Emeritus of Pharmacy at the Albany College of Pharmacy in Albany, New York. Along with co-author Mary Evans, he has presented numerous education programs in drug therapy. Mary E. Evans is the Associate Dean for Research and Doctoral Study at the University of Southern Florida's College of Nursing. Formerly the Principle Research Scientist, Director of the Evaluation Unit, and Assistant Director of Evaluation and Services Research for the New York State Department of Mental Health, her special interest in drug therapy has brought her a wide variety of teaching experiences in the field. Dr. Evans earned her Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Albany, M.S.N. at the University of Pennsylvania, B.S. in Education from Temple University, and R.N. from Lankenau Hospital School of Nursing. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
