Surgery in the Multimodal Management of Gastric Cancer
Professor Walter Siquini is a teaching fellow at the Polytechnic University of Ancona, Italy and is employed as a general surgeon, at “Torrette-Umberto I” Hospital, which is a high-level hospital with specialism in major and oncologic surgery. He graduated in medicine in 1993 and received a postgraduate qualification in general surgery in 1998 at the University of Ancona. Since 2002 he has been a researcher and teaching assistant at the Teaching Hospital of “Torrete-Umberto I”. His main interest is oncological gastrointestinal surgery, and he has attended and spoken at several national congresses concerning gastric cancer.
