Pediatric Care Planning

This edition addresses contemporary pediatric health problems and concerns -- including findings on pediatric interventions, added care plans for pediatric health problems (such as AIDS), and NANDA nursing diagnoses. Each plan of care includes interventions and rationales that are structured according to the nursing process, specific patient outcomes, and more. Diseases and disorders of major body systems are covered in detail, as well as EENT diseases, psychosocial disorders, perioperative care, radiologic procedures and related diagnostic care, and home health care. All therapies, treatments, laboratory values, and medications have been brought up-to-date.
