Jim Mizner is a registered pharmacist in the state of Virginia, where he has actively practiced for more than 30 years. Jim has experience teaching in the Pharmacy Technician space and transitioned into instructional design and administration in the for-profit sector in the early 2000s, where he worked for about a decade before starting his consulting business. Jim is the founding author of Mosby's Pharmacy Technician Exam Review, which has prepared thousands of students and practitioners to pass the certification exam, and has worked as an item writer and consultant in the development of Elsevier Adaptive Quizzing for Mosby's Pharmacy Technician. He is active in the Pharmacy Technician Educators Council (PTEC) and works closely with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). In addition, Jim serves as an accreditation site visitor for ABHES.
